At Last...

I am back...I have not written in my blog for an age, sorry to peeps who have been complaining! Although I do feel slightly egotistic that people have been complaining!

I have had the most delightful and painful two weeks...we will start back to front on this one.

Painful
My back!!!!! Its hurting like someone’s stabbed me a thousand times and it wont go away at all...I’ve even resulted in taking codeine (The happy pill!) but alas no improvement. So any tips please relay (I'd love you forever)...So yeah pain pain pain (just wanted to emphasise the pain) If you stab yourself in the back you could empathise....it could be fun....it could be.

Delightful
I went to see the Foo Fighters last Saturday which was amazing!! Hyde park was such a great venue and I was right at the front in the gold circle in front of 80,000 people!! Motorhead played and they rocked me more than I thought they would, they were terrific I was dancing and everything (which is something). And to top it all off at the end of the Foo's gig Brian May and Roger Taylor (Queen) came and played with the Foo's....Had to be there moment. I was standing with my mate Splem who had bright red hair which is important because he was on the screen a lot and I was next to him so I was too...that was cool. Splem thank you because if it wasn't for your arm i think i may have been pushed so much I would have ended up in a different country.

Then on last Wed i was in Hyde Park again for the O2 gig watching Belle and Sebastian, The Raconteurs and the Strokes...and I had VIP Passes. Free food, drinks the works. They had a sushi bar, an ice cream bar, a noodle bar, the nicest seats and they even set up a BBQ for us...I went with my friend Kevin - We proper abused the free drinks part! The highlight was deffers The Strokes they were so good we danced and sang and jumped. All round fun....

So there you go....Remember empathy is good, so if you wanna just grab that knife.

Feeder and Goldie Looking Chain

Well went to Hammersmith last night for the long awaited Feeder Gig. It was so amazing I have to blog and get all my excitement out! GLC came out first and sang (well maybe not singing) some quality tunage....with the likes of "Half Man Half Machine" and "The Maggot", if you don't like GLC as much as me then you may think me a bit sad right now but they make me laugh my bum off. Then Feeder came out and just blew me away, I already think they sound beautiful but hearing them live was just unreal. I'm quite passionate about music I have to admit and they were awesome. Ahhhh wow I love birthday presents (the ticket was a pressie). Anyways I had an amazing time and to top it off got the Foo Fighters coming up next and a study day at uni so no trekking in early in the morning.

Well have a great weekend, See you all soon people

College Dropout?

Well I was thinking today how I receive information at college and how cynical I can be. How instead of trying to listen, a lot of the time I sit on my laptop talking to people telling them how bored I am. I think this is purely due to the fact that I don’t listen most the time. I am finding that my essay grades are fine so I am not motivating myself to do better than that. The sad fact is that if I actually tried it could not just be fine but great....is this the norm? In twenty years time looking back am I going to be saying yeah I tried but I could have done better? I bloody hope not! Sorry everyone I realise this is a bit melodramatic.
I have just been thinking a lot about everyone else and how there motivation inspires me lately. My uni class are amazing; if you’re reading this you truly are great. I don't actually think id be this far along if it wasn't for their support so shout out to you!

(Bit random but blogs are for head diarrhoea aren’t they?)

Snowboarding Lessons....

Well as a result of speaking to my friend last night who is an avid snowboarder, she has persuaded me to go boarding later this year. There is but one problem.....I cant Snowboard! So I am going to be taking lessons. There lies another problem the only place I can find is in Milton Keynes....which isn’t exactly on my doorstep and being as a group lesson for an hour is £30 and then paying for the train it mounts up a lot. I could pay about £200 to learn in a day....freaking eh why is snowboarding so expensive lol. Not really a student sport. Oh well when i have learned ill be able to get right onto the snow and impress my friends who think I have no balance! I do think it will be awesome ive been skiing before but ive never been snowboarding so im sure it will be an amazing experience, which ill enjoy i just hope i dont end up injuring myself.....

A Collision with confusion on the subject: Men

And Men well Men confusing little tykes! Men, if you don’t have a girlfriend do something nice for a friend in your life, buy her some flowers.…I was reading my friend Sarah’s blog and she summed it up “Where have all the good men gone?”. Where? I mean if there are any good ones left please show yourself back into society....come out and open a door for me or let me get on the train first before you push me halfway back onto the platform. Dare I say treat me like a lady. I have to admit I do live in Romford which isn’t the best area to search for gentlemen believe me. But anyhow after my little rant....I’m off. Have a great week.

An Expensive Ticket & a Poetry Cafe

Friday night Splem and I were discussing the Foo Fighters Concert and whether to buy the Average tickets or the amazing gold circle tickets...well as you can probably guess we chose the decent gold area ones! Oh the excitement. They were so expensive but we both have nice families who give nice birthday presents... (Thank you to my nice sister Sarah). Anyways its on the 17th June and i cant wait...Queens of the Stone Age and Motorhead (I think) are the supporting acts so you know its gonna be brilliant. Woo Foo Fighters here I come.

Last night for the first time I went to a poetry cafe which was an experience. It was completely different to what I was expecting. I expected it to be a smoked filled dive. I was pleasantly surprised to find in fact it was quaint and lovely. Also the poets were amazing talented people who kept me engaged the whole time.

A Trip to Centre Parks and a near Broken nose

Hello well.....I told you there would be intrigue and suspense and I keep my promise's. I have to start with the fact that i went to centre parks this weekend and it was so much fun. There were a number of events that happened with a lot of them being accidents and I’m afraid to say involved me!

One of the nice things that was discovered was Taba's (taba is in my class at uni) fiancĂ©e Chris, who is amazing. Ahh he was so funny and put a whole new meaning to the phrase high five. Also the girls put their massaging skills to the test, I say girls because the boys really didn’t have a clue, although Splem and Telf (also from uni) had no problem with receiving them. I did so many face and head massages and I think I even gave a foot and hand one too.....hard life for the boys eh.

Oh the intrigue....Well lets start from the beginning, first I’m relaxing and having a glass of wine only to spill poor Splem's red wine all down his tee shirt, but i then go on to spill his wine about another three times! After that i go swimming, we are all going down the rapids and I feel someone trying to grab my foot, so my initial reaction is push away only unfortunately I push my foot full pelt into his face and nearly knock him out whilst nearly breaking his nose and bursting two blood vessels in his eye....Not a good start, to a friendship. But nether the less he found it quite amusing, fortunately for me.

I also hit Telf with a mini golf club when swinging for the ball....not too pretty, no one was hurt really though, so that was fortunate. He even managed to film it, so real life comedy on tape.

All in all it was a great weekend with us all cooking and cleaning. We went kayaking on the lake together, some got wetter than others and after that we worshipped God together. Most of all we got to know each other better and that was amazing. I feel like God really did work in all of us that weekend.

And Dave (who is also Splem for people who dont know), if you're reading this.....opps hope you nose feels better soon....it’s kind of like a whole public apology.

Bye Emma x

Ps My sister read this and said my grammar was poo, so she kindly edited, so you lovely people can actually read and not be confused, i just thought i should give her some praise for being a nice sister.
